Newsletter - August 2022
Dear Friends,
Swami Sivananda, a 126-year-old yoga guru, known as the oldest Indian and the happiest man was at the Sports Expo at Hitex on 28th August, Sunday morning. The organizers invited him to participate in Yoga as part of the ongoing Sports Expo at Madhapur. He showed his Yoga skills by demonstrating a few asanas –Paschimottanasana, Sarvangasana, and Pavanamuktasana to name a few to the 1000-plus Yoga enthusiasts at a yoga program called Yoganamami.
While talking to the media he said it was his maiden visit to the city. People of Hyderabad are lovely people by heart and soul. I wish them to practice Yoga regularly. In reply to a question, he said his date of birth is 8th August 1896. He has given a brief personal life profile and a colour photocopy of his Aadhar Card.
Revealing the secret behind his long life, he said, it is a simple life. Life without money, no donations, no desire, no oil, salt, milk, fruit, no day sleeping, and guru Omkarananda Goswami’s Kripa, all led to disease-free 126 years of life. Regular yoga practice as a party of Green health is one of the important verticals of the Green Rameswaram project. We are conducting regular yoga classes in the morning and evening at our Green Rameswaram office since last eight years. Now, our work is spreading to other areas of Rameswaram as well. Hope, in the coming years yoga will not remain limited to practicing yogsana and pranayama, but will be a way of life to be healthy and happy like Shri.Sivananda.

Management is Everywhere
(We are all managers and leaders)
Dear Friends,
We saw that the essence of management may be captured by two words – coordination & communication. Now, we shall briefly explore the presence and the need for management in every field of human activities. As charity begins at home, let us begin with a housewife. She has the unique role and responsibilities for taking care of all members of the house, in terms of their food, clothing and shelter literally. Well, the shelter may be there, but she has to ensure that everyone has a comfortable bed to sleep.
