Dear Friends,

5th June is celebrated as “World Environment Day”. In this month, we are sharing a powerful message about Nature received through WhatsApp. Please spare some time to listen the powerful youtube https://youtu.be/HcXcNL16Ql4. It says the following:

With just one little virus of mine,
You are scared,
Begging for your life,
Rushing into your holes,
Now just see who I am,
I am Nature,
You are not my only children,
Every creature in the ocean,
Every creature in the sky,
Are also mine,
Enough! You have created Enough Chao's,
Now you learn,
Now, you must acknowledge,
I am here to teach you control,
For human Control means self restriction and bondage,
Hence you sing 'free your mind' free your mind to what you want, irrespective how damage it is...?

ACE Focal Points

By
Dr.Sanjay Banerji
Founder Director/Dean of Amrita School of Business

Dear Friends,

This month, we shall continue to discuss Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE). Please recall that decisions 17/CP.22 and 17/CMA.1, renamed all efforts related to implementing Article 6 of the Convention and Article 12 of the Paris Agreement as Action for Climate Empowerment. An important dimension of this initiative at the global level is the appointment of a national focal point by every country [1].

As on date, the website that lists the national focal points does not show any entry for India. However, we did find the following entry at another page [4]. But they are National Focal Points of Parties to the UNFCCC; representing the nation for the entire Convention, and not specifically for Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE).

Leaves are deltoid or triangular, irregularly lobed. The entire stem and leaves contain thorns all over the plant. Flowers are star shaped purplish-blue, in cymes.
