Solid Waste Management
District Collector’s Visit
The District Collector of Ramanathapuram, Shri.K.Veera Raghava Rao visited Agni Theertham, Amma Mess and Bus Stand to monitor the Covid-19 emergency work on 07th April. During the visit, he provided lunch to the destitutes. On 23rd April, The District Collector coducted an official meeting at Guest House involving government officials.
During the visits, 36 Green Friends were engaged in street cleaning activity covering all main roads, Agni Theertham, near Amma Mess and Bus Stand.

Combating COVID 19 – Corona GRT Way
Green Rameswaram has been doing the best to create awareness to the general public about COVID 2019. Following were the major activities carried out during this tough period supporting the nations fight against Corona.
1. Mask Distribution
Shri.Abdul Jaffar, Tahsildar, Rameswaram requested us to arrange for Masks for the public servants who are combating Corona. Following Green Rameswaram Volunteers worked for this assignment.
