Dear friends, welcome back. In this lesson, we shall take a simple example to illustrate financial statements. Let us assume that a group of 10 women from a village panchayat area decide to form a Self-Help Group (SHG), and start a provision store.
A Rare book – Dhevaiula on Ramanathaswami
This classical work on Sri Ramanatha Swami of Rameswaram was composed by “Palapattadai Chokkanatha Pillai”. This work was discovered by Dr.U.Ve.Saminatha Iyer after comparing multiple versions. He also wrote a commentary on this rare text.

Door to Door Source Segregation Demo Programme
Everyday door-to-door waste collection and source segregation along with street cleaning were carried out uninterruptedly.
Three Source Segregation Demonstration programmes were organized on 26th, 29th and 30th of November at Rajagopal Nagar (Ward No: 18), Anna Nagar (Ward No: 10) and Undiyallkuda Street (Ward No: 15).

Cardiospermum halicacabum L. is a creeper which belongs to family Sapindaceae. This plant is extensively dispersed in tropical and sub-tropical areas. It is spread in the plains of Africa, America, Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. It is often consumed as greens in India.

Cow Waste Value Added training
This training programme commenced on September 20, 2022 and ended up this month on October 20, 2022. However the Certificate distribution function happened on November 1, 2022. Shri.Arunkumar, Branch Manager, Dhanalakshmi Bank attended the Certificate distribution function and addressed the participants along with Shri.Jai Sankar, Project Coordinator, EDII. 70% of the participants expressed their happiness about the training.

On 08 November 2022, NSS camp was conducted for Sri Parvathavarthini Students. As a part of NSS activities Palm Seed plantations were carried out.

Sadhana Diwas
Rameswaram yoga participants organised a Sadhana Diwas in memory of Shri.Eknathji Ranade, Founder of Vivekananda Kendra on 19th November. About 50 Participants attended. 2 students gave a lecture on Eknathji and Swami Vivekananda. Shri.Thillai Backiam gave a lead lecture on Eknathji Ranade and Sister Saraswathi narrated how the Rock memorial was constructed. Shri.Hegdeji thanked all the participants.
