Herbal Garden (Muligai Vanam)

Distribution and Habitat
Bitter gourd (Momordica charantia L.) is a tropical vine belonging to the family Cucurbitaceae. The plant is cultivated as vegetable as well as a medicinal crop widely in India, China and South East Asia. It is slender, climbing monoecious plant with yellow coloured separate male and female flowers, arises in the leaf axils and long-stalked leaves.

Livelihood Opportunities

In this financial year GRT has decided to take up Livelihood programme for 1000 stakeholders.To begin with, 680 applications have been collected and the process of kit formation has started in this month.

On 29th March 2025, a heartfelt Remembrance Day was organized to honor the memory and legacy of Late Shri. Hegdeji, a revered yoga guru who passed away last year on this day.
